There’s no need to leave the Midwest to get Vegas-like glamour, entertainment, service, and meeting facilities, thanks to MGM Grand Detroit. The downtown resort has it all: a 100,000-square-foot casino; two signature restaurants, including Wolfgang Puck Steak; the luxurious Immerse Spa; and more than 30,000 square feet of event space.
The largest events take place in the Grand Ballroom, which offers 14,000 square feet that can be divided into four sections, while two executive boardrooms are ideal for VIP meetings. Every venue features state-of-the-art audio, visual, and lighting equipment — as well as onsite technicians to make sure it all operates smoothly throughout the event.
Attendees can bond long after the business is done at entertainment outlets such as Axis Lounge, where local bands perform jazz, pop, and more; Topgolf Swing Suite, which combines a comfortable lounge area with high-tech sports simulators; and Tap at MGM Grand Detroit, a pub that serves comfort food and a wide selection of beer while showing the big games on more than 40 HDTVs.
The Vegas luxury doesn’t stop beyond the casino floor. Through a dedicated entrance, hotel guests find spacious comfort in the private lobby living room and 400 guest rooms and suites that are separated from the gaming action. They also have access to Immerse spa’s fitness center and indoor pool.
