The Brazilian Court Hotel draws the upper crust of society to the island of Palm Beach, Florida, as it has since opening on New Year’s Day 1926. Celebrities like Greta Garbo and Gary Cooper came frequently for the hotel’s signature privacy and pampering, and today’s vacationers, executive retreats, and incentive groups continue to enjoy the star treatment.
A star in its own right, the Palm Beach landmark retains its Old World glamour and in-town convenience mere steps from the latest in designer shopping on Worth Avenue and the timeless pleasures of the beach. But a $45 million renovation over six years revitalized the hotel’s Mediterranean elegance, reconfigured the accommodations to 70 studios and one- to three-bedroom suites, added sumptuous limestone and mahogany baths, and discreetly introduced twenty-first-century technology. Other highlights: the epicurean menus of celebrity Chef Daniel Boulud at Café Boulud and the poolside salon of celebrity stylist Frédéric Fekkai.
Groups mixing business and pleasure meet in 2,748 square feet of interior space plus another 1,000 square feet outdoors. Venues include the Ballroom and Conservatory for up to 120 guests and the Brazilian Court Pavilion, a state-of-the-art executive center with a boardroom for 8 and a conference room for up to 55. Fully equipped and flexible, the facilities and staff still promise privacy and pampering—creating a unique and memorable Palm Beach meeting experience.
