The Eliza Jane

Situated in the heart of New Orleans' Central Business District neighborhood and just two blocks from the French Quarter, the newest Hyatt Unbound Collection Hotel is steeped in New Orleans legend. The 196 rooms and suites are inspired by the city itself—welcoming and modern with a thoughtful nod to history. Located in a 19th-century Renaissance Revival building and former offices of The Daily Picayune newspaper, the hotel is named after Eliza Jane Nicholson, the country’s first female publisher and owner.

The Eliza Jane features Couvant, a charming French brasserie located within the hotel's historic lobby. Helmed by Executive Chef Brad McDonald, Couvant offers a menu inspired by classic French cuisine with a modern twist. Guests can savor dishes crafted from locally sourced ingredients, complemented by an extensive wine list and creative cocktails.
