The Reeds at Shelter Haven

Opened in June 2013, The Reeds at Shelter Haven caters to meetings and corporate retreats with 37 luxury guest rooms and hospitality suites, a 2,619-square-foot ballroom, spacious veranda, event lawn, and rooftop deck on the waterfront in Stone Harbor, New Jersey. The borough's narrow seven-mile-long barrier island combines beautiful white sand beaches, water sports, upscale homes, and small-town charm.

While the three-story cedar-shake building evokes the community's earliest days on the Jersey Shore, the interiors sport clean-lined contemporary furnishings set off by the latest in smart technology and seaside touches like glass-mosaic walls and driftwood-inspired chandeliers. Guests dine on regional American cuisine year-round in an intimate coastal atmosphere at the main restaurant, Sax. In warm weather, the Water Star Grill entertains on the lawn and sprawling deck beside Shelter Haven Yacht Basin.
